Yes. A plate can be ordered on its own at any time, and it comes with two small brass screws. They are small enough to go in without drilling, usually into the vertical posts, so you can put the plate where you want it.

Lids are made for the basket they are named after, and some baskets share the same one. The surest way is to start from the page of the basket you own and add the lid option there, since a few lid names look alike. If your basket’s page does not offer a lid, email us the outside measurements across the top and we will let you know what the families can do.

We put them on for you before your baskets ship, and they add about a quarter inch to the height. They tack into each corner of the wood bottom and come with a simple instruction sheet, so they are easy to put on yourself if you ever need to.

Email us and we will make it right. If a set of feet, a bag of pegs, or a liner was not in the box, we send it out to you, and if we engraved a plate wrong we send a new one with the mounting screws. If you spot a typo in the wording you sent us, write us right away, since order changes are time sensitive.

Every measurement we publish is the outside of the basket. The inside runs about an inch smaller in each direction, since the handwoven walls take up room. When you are fitting a basket to a shelf, a cubby, or a spot on a counter, measure your space and allow about an inch of clearance. Baskets are woven freehand, so they can vary by up to about half an inch.
